The LORD is Worthy to be praised!!! Our April events were a success. The 7 Last words of Jesus Christ and our Resurrection Sunday Celebration! Our Partnership numbers are growing. We would like to thank everyone for their prayers and dontations to keep the work of Ministry going. Hallelujah!!! As one of my mentors used to say, "God Met Us!" We had another GREAT time! We talked about the rough times in life that we experience are not our time of Change...but our time of Transition....the LORD is transitioning us into the Promise that He has prepared for us! As you know our ministry is all about pointing people in the direction where they can discover and fulfill the Greater Destiny that the LORD God has given them. Further, we are committed to sowing seed into other ministries that have the same commitment. In our March service, we were fortunate to sow into the life and ministry of Minister Harlan Humphrey. Minister Humphrey is a faithful servant of God who has committed himself to evangelistic work in the streets of Pittsburgh and beyond. He is currently believing God for funds for sound equipment for the Work that the LORD has given him. We raised some funds. Also, Pastor Keith Moncrief and the Missionary Temple Ministries came to join us in our services. Pastor Moncrief took the time to meticulously break down the Word of God pertaining to the work that the LORD has called us as a Church to complete in the area. We are so very thankful for his willingness to fellowship with us and his desire to support us in our endeavor to execute the Kingdom task that we have been given by the LORD God. Finally, if you are free in the coming month of April, I would encourage you to join us for our Poetry Slam focusing on the Seven Last Words of Jesus Christ. Many times, people get together to hear preachers provide mini-sermons on these last words or sayings by Jesus while He was on the cross. This year, we will have GREAT Poets who will focus on this word and enlighten us with what the LORD God has to say through them. Join us Friday April 22, 2011 at 7pm at the the Amani International Coffeehouse and Cafe located at 507 Foreland St. Pittsburgh, PA 15212 (1 Block up from East Ohio St.). Then, Sunday Morning (April 24th) 11:00am, we will have our Easter Sunday Morning Service at MCC on 1319 Allegheny Ave Pittsburgh, PA 15214! Blessings!!! Our Second Meeting was GREAT, and we are EXCITED about what the LORD is doing here at Greater Destiny World Outreach Church! We are committed to continue talking about Your Greater Destiny! In February, we reminded the people of God that the LORD says, "I Got You!" If you are dealing with rough times in your life, remember that the LORD God is Faithful to carry you through and teach you how to Stand Still and See how He will fight for you! Hello All!!! What a way to start the year! We are in the process of starting a church in the Pittsburgh Area! Jan 30th was the start of our first event, Your Greater Destiny! Many Family and Friends came out to show their love and support for what God is doing with our ministry. DECEMBER 26, 2010, Greater Destiny will be sponsoring the special charity event, "The POWER of ONE!" Charity Concert. ALL PROCEEDS to benefit Norwin Relay for Life (an organization for the American Cancer Society) and the Pittsburgh Alzheimer’s Association. This event will take place at the Covenant Hall for the Performing Arts (316 Maple Street, Irwin, PA 15642). Brother Marlon T. Martin of the Power of Gospel (WORD FM 101.5 8pm-12pm Saturdays)will be there hosting the event. Psalmist Fred Dukes and other local artists will also be present as we raise money to support two GREAT causes. Tickets are $10.00 in advance & $12.00 at the door. Call for tickets & more info!

Although we are currently a small ministry, the LORD has given us the ability to do a Great work for Him. Well, in the month of October the LORD blessed us to connect with a person doing ministry in India. Pastor Michael Das has been promoting a campaign to provide Bibles for people in India. He informed us that there have been villages that were burned because people had Bibles in their homes. He has asked us to do what we can to provide Bibles, and we have provided close to 25 Bibles. Well….Our First Sunday Morning Service was a Big Success….We worshipped together, Laughed together, and Learned together…..I would like to thank you for all of your prayers concerning our endeavor to do what the LORD has assigned for us in this season. I would like to send a Special Thanks to My Dear Wife Latisha, our Children (John III, Jenaya, Judah), Momma Cru, Sasha Mikesh, Richard Crews, Sharee Tavilla, and the remaining members of the team. You guys are phenomenal Partners. It is a pleasure to see that you see the Work of Greater Destiny World Outreach Church as YOUR VISION.
We preached from the subject “He Can.” I pray that as you read this update, you realize that the LORD Can Do in Your Life….Whatever it is that you may need…from Healing…to financial breakthrough….to restoration of family members….or whatever else it may be….I dare you to stand on His Word and His promises knowing that He Can!!! He Can do Just what He said. I dare you to declare His Word in your life and the lives of others connected to you…He Can!!! Well Praise the LORD!!!! Bibles have arrived in the Philippines! Pastor Eddie and the members of his church were so happy to receive Bibles this Sunday morning (9-8-10). I spoke with Pastor Eddie until 3:00am (his time), and he told me about everyone’s excitement He told me that one member was so excited about receiving their Bible that he missed dinner.
Using their Cebuano language, I sent his members a message that said, “Salamat Hesus!!!” Which is interpreted, “Thank You Jesus!!!” Then, we commissioned them to Read It-(basaha na) Understand It (sabta na) and Live It-(kinabuhia na). Thank you all who contributed toward this endeavor. Remember, the Bible declares, Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether [he be] bond or free Ephesians 6:8. So, that which you have been expecting from the LORD will come to pass because of your willingness to give.

Well….Over the past few weeks, we have been blessed to connect with a Brother from the Philippines that is a Pastor in the General Santos City area. We have been blessed to share the word of the LORD God with him, and he later expressed his need for 
Bibles to do ministry. Pastor Eddie expressed to me that there are very few members in his church that have Bibles…They need resources….So we began to pray and seek the LORD and will begin a campaign to ship Bibles over to the Philippines. They will be King James Holy Bibles (Cebuano). The cost of each Bible is $10.00.
