Partnership and Not Membership
The Apostle Paul taught that the church in Corinth that we are MANY Members in ONE Body (I Corinthians 12:12). With that understood, we at the Greater Destiny World Outreach Church deem it necessary to extend Partnership in the work of ministry and not Membership to an organization as if we are an exclusive club…You are being made members of the Body of Christ irrespective of Denominational views, gift-sets, assignments, etc. However, you are admonished to do the work of that view, gift, or assignment through partnering with a network of believers. As a Partner with the Greater Destiny World Outreach Church, we expect the following:
- Pay Your Tithes: This is a biblical system used throughout the scriptures to see to it that the day-to-day operations of the tabernacle, temple and synagogue were met. Additionally, this was designed to care for those who labored in that place doing the work of caring for the things of the LORD God (Numbers 18:21-23). Before the institution of the "Israelite Law," THIS SYSTEM also was used as a sign to communicate that an individual saw something GREAT in the work that was being done as they believed in what the LORD would accomplish to be complete in them (Genesis 14:18-20). PARTNERS at the Greater Destiny World Outreach Church tithe because they see that God is doing something Great here and their giving ensures that the work continues which gives them the right to have things open up to them pertaining to ideas and thoughts of purpose, etc.
- Pursue Purpose/Call of God….”Your Greater Destiny:” As a Member of the Body, it is vital that you pursue the call of the LORD God for your Life (Jeremiah 1:5; Jeremiah 29:11). From Ministry to Business, Everyone has a Call that the LORD has given them and they must be committed to working that call.
- Attend Greater Destiny World Outreach Church meetings: From Worship Services to symposiums to general fellowship outings, it is necessary that you gather with likeminded people to discover and/or do what God has called you to do in the earth (Proverbs 15:22; Hebrews 10:25). We don't necessarily expect you to come to church EVERY Sunday, but we do expect you to come. YOU ARE A VALUED PARTNER and THIS IS YOUR INVESTMENT!!!
- Give as HE has purposed you: The Vision that the LORD God gave you is Big. AS a Matter of Fact, it is Bigger than you and your personal needs. So, when you give to the Work of Greater Destiny World Outreach Church (or any other ministry or business investment) Be sure that it points to the purpose on your life (II Corinthians 9:6-7)!!! Support the Ministry and its Missions by supporting those faithful to the work of ministry (I Corinthians 9:14;I Timothy 5:18). Support the Stranger, Orphan, and Widow (Deuteronomy 14:29). Lend to the LORD by giving to the Poor (Proverbs 19:17). Just do something nice for people. Give.
You have rights and access as a Partner: As a GDWOC Partner you can use online access to our worship services and download special messages & writings specifically to those who are partners of GDWOC. Remember, All Partners receive discounts on products, special events, & services (Also on some businesses associated and partnered with us and its affiliates)
