Our Pastor

John Robinson is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Greater Destiny World Outreach Church, a ministry dedicated to declaring the Gospel; developing the faithful; and directing everyone to their Greater Destiny in Christ. Pastor Robinson approaches ministry with unrelenting energy and determination to glorify the LORD in such a way that others are inspired to seek the LORD as a foundation for their own lives.

A native of Pittsburgh, PA , Pastor Robinson has faithfully served in ministry for over 15 years. He has dedicated himself to preach and teach the message of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom through music, writing, speaking, and other venues to all who have an ear to hear. He has served as a Deacon, Licensed Minister, Minister of Music, Elder, and Executive Pastor at various churches. In June of 2009, John was released by his pastor to move to Phoenix and begin a ministry in the Phoenix , Arizona area.

Pastor Robinson has a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree from Geneva College. As a musician, Pastor Robinson has a profound understanding of the purpose of music, praise, and worship which he has taught at several churches and ministry events. Additionally, he has taught classes concerning Kingdom Leadership, Church Order & Government, and other Biblical subjects.

With a desire to help people help themselves, Pastor Robinson has dedicated his life to encouraging the people of God. He has written several songs to point others to worship the LORD, and is in the process of completing a book on praise and worship for those who seek to pursue the purpose of the LORD. He lives by the saying, "Successful people do daily what others do occasionally."

Pastor Robinson is married to Latisha Robinson of Pittsburgh , PA. They have three children: John Edward III, Jenaya Elaine, and Judah Ellis.
