Agents of Change

Blessings to you all how are counted as being chosen in Him before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4). There is a wave of change going on because of your involvement. Whether you have voted for Senator John McCain or President-Elect Barack Obama, you have taken part of history. But it cannot stop there.
 
Beloved of God, It is vital that we see that we are agents of change. It is our responsibility to change our hearts. As we change our hearts we will take a step to change our homes. As we change our homes we will take a step to change our community. As we make the effort to change our community we will take the step to change our cities, our states, and our country. And as we make the effort to change out country we will be instrumental in changing our world.
 
Change is not easy, but it is necessary.Change is not always great because there is resistance that begins to surface when we make the effort to change. But it will not just happen because we voted for an African American President. We must see that there are still youth that are killing youth. We must see that there are young people who sadly do not value their education. We must see that there are families without fathers to guide them, families without mothers to nurture them, and parents without resources necessary to properly aid their children in advancing in the thing that we callthe American Dream!!
 
In this Kingdom Insight, I just want you to see that you are the Agent of Change. It is important for you to see that you are created in the Image and Likeness of the Creator and Sustainer of the Universe (The LORD and One True God).
 
Is it not interesting that He takes an earth without form and void, consumed by darkness on its surface, and commands light into existence. Then He calls forth dry land, lights to rule the day and night, fish & birds, plants & animals. Finally, He makes man in His image & likeness which means that man has the ability to do what God can do if he stays in alignment with God's will. I say all of that to say that there may be some dark places in your life. You may have witnessed some dark places in your home, your community, your church, your job, a relationship or somewhere else. God has created you for such a time as this to be an agent of change.

He has created you to see beyond the darkness that would be prevalent on the face of the deep and address the deepNESSas the scriptures declare, deep persistently calls unto deep Psalm 42:7.  The LORD wants you to see that you are the Agent of Change and you are the one responsible for calling the light to come forth in the Dark Places.
 
It may be hard, but to use the political slogan of this season, Yes we can. It may be frustrating, but Yes we can. It may seem like we are not qualified because we don't have the resources or the education, but settle right now, Yes we can. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us(Philippians 4:13). He has equipped us to make it happen in this season.
 
We cannot wait on one man to do it, and I am not writing you to promote the work of our President-Elect. I am assigned to promote the work of Christ. Barack Obama is a president not our Precious Savior. He is a candidate not our Christ. However, we who are His (Christ's) Body must rise up and address the social injustices of our day. We must rise up and address the issues contrary to the will of God that we are facing in our families, in our churches, and in our communities. Speak to the Darkness, Call forth the things that are crooked to walk in alignment with the will of your Father and God. Remember, beloved of God, You Are an Agent of Change.
 
As we will always close these Kingdom Insights, Remember the Higher You Go, the Lighter you are, and the less pull that gravity has upon you. Go Higher in Him.
